Windburn Wind Farm public exhibitions: 20th - 22nd June 2023
Wind2 is inviting people from local people and stakeholders to attend its public exhibitions for the proposed Windburn Wind Farm.
The public exhibitions will take place on:
Tuesday 20 June, 3-7pm, Moray Institute, Blackburn, PH4 1QF
Wednesday 21 June, 3-7 pm, Cochrane Hall, Alva, FK12 5LJ
Thursday 22 June, 3-7pm, Braco Village Hall, Braco, FK15 9QE
The exhibitions are a chance for local people to find out more about Windburn Wind Farm, see visualisations of the turbines from a series of viewpoints and have their questions answered by the Wind2 team.
Ryan Bissoonauth, Wind2’s project manager for Windburn Wind Farm said: “We hope as many people as possible come to our first round of public exhibitions.
“The proposal is still at an early stage and over the coming months we’ll be finessing our plans in consultation with the community, so it’s vital we gain feedback from people who live and work around the wind farm.”
People who attend will be invited to provide comments and feedback on the proposals as part of the consultation process.
All material will be added to the website, along with the feedback form, following the exhibitions. A second round of public events will be held in late 2023.
